Hospital 34+3

Bet you can guess at this point what we did first this morning. Yup monitoring and everyone looks pretty good although Ray really doesn't want to play this game right now. He has the hiccups.

I had my usual nap before breakfast then a shower afterward.

Ami came to visit for a while which was nice to catch up. It's always interesting to me that the two of us may not talk for months but can sit down and talk like we speak daily. I guess those are just the good childhood friends. Let's see, we have been friends for 26 years. Holy cow that makes me feel old!

Following Ami's visit the Sloan's came in. They were homeless until 5 so they hung out for a few hours. Good entertainment for sure! 

I had a little excitement this morning between the nurse and the coordinator who were trying to get my c section moved to Monday. Well that was a bomb. They are already booked mon-wed so I have to stick with Thursday!

Mom was next and we all went downstairs so I could choose some lunch. I had a strange looking piece of pizza but it was good.

Kyle left after that to go home and run some errands while mom was here. Dad came up too.

We waited until after the 2 monitoring which was fine to begin the belly cast project. I realize I was asking my non crafty mom to help but I thought we could do it and we did. It was absolutely messy in case anyone was wondering. 

When we were done I had to take another shower and wash my belly several times to get the belly lubricant off.

Now it dries for 24 hours. Hoping we can at least use it for a newborn picture where you put the babies back in it.

The rest of the day was normal. I had some naps while mom read her book. 

This made me laugh!

Kyle came back around 7 and took me on another field trip to McDonalds! People really stare which I would not expect so much when you are in a hospital. But I guess my belly looks like it will explode at this point. Even small children make comments about how large it is.

Kyle and I watched football/big brother and played games. 

We had monitoring at 10 by a new nurse. Ray had some decells again but she didn't seem concerned. Not sure she was even watching it since I had to point them out and she left me on an extra 30 minutes and said, "oops sorry".

Kyle went and got food around 1:30 from the cafeteria but that was it for me, I was falling asleep by the time he got back.
